AIE 2012 Scholarship Winner - Elisabeth Tourneboeuf
Elisabeth Tourneboeuf is a Senior Engineer Project Manager currently working in AECOM’s renewable energy team. She holds a Bachelor and Masters of engineering and a Masters of Project Management.
Over the past five years, Elisabeth has gained experience in the management and delivery of solar, wind, and hybrid (win-solar-storage-diesel) projects, working for EPC providers, for project owners and for financiers.
Elisabeth has worked across the whole value chain of renewable energy projects from Technology Readiness Assessment, to concept design and feasibility, all the way to tender design, write-up of technical specifications, tender process management, off-take and supply agreement negotiations, detailed design and construction support. She has worked on projects in Europe (when working for the wind developer Theolia), in Australia, in South East Asia and in Saudi Arabia.
In 2012, Elisabeth received the AIE scholarship to deliver a research project on the “lessons learnt from the European experience with utility scale solar”. The study involved site visits and meetings with over 35 industry stakeholders. The findings were summarised in a report available on the AIE website.
Elisabeth is passionate about renewable energy and eager to continue to play a role in the transition towards a secure, reliable and affordable clean energy mix.
