The AIE is pleased to join with the ANU Energy Change Institute to welcome Professor Lincoln Davies, Presidential Endowed Chair in Law, College Of Law, University of Utah to present on 4 August 2017.
Professor Davies is an expert in US energy law and will provide a detailed consideration of the current state of energy policy and law in the United States as well as potential changes under the Trump Administration, including:
• an overview of US energy policy and regulation, with particular attention to the impacts of competition and environmental law;
• an in-depth look at the use of state renewable portfolio standards in the US as a mechanism to promote uptake of renewable energy; and
• an assessment of the impact of the Trump Administration on the US energy markets.
