AIE Canberra is very pleased to announce an event to be held at the ACT Renewables Innovation Hub, 19-23 Moore St, Turner 2612, on Wednesday July 12th 2017, 12:30 - 14:00.
AIE Director, Steve Blume has recently attended Intersolar 2017, and the EU Energy Storage 2017 Conferences & Exhibitions in Germany. He has offered to provide an overview of the key trends and his observations on markets & technologies and relate them to the Australian situation.
Secondly, Steve has also been very involved in analysing the Finkel Review, and would like to address the question: "what comes next?"
Whilst the State and Federal governments and many others have commented, Steve will lead a Q&A to assist the creation of an AIE ACT position or set of views to report back to the Board. We would welcome your thoughts and opinions, so please, come along and get involved.
Steve Blume is President of the Australian Solar Council, Energy Storage Council, a Director of the Global Solar Council and of the AIE, and Treasurer of the NZ Pacific Solar & Storage Council. He has many years of experience at the policy and implementation aspects of the renewables revolution, as well as having contributed to current ACT energy policy and delivery of the ACT 100% renewables strategy.
A light lunch will be served,
Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org to allow us to estimate catering numbers.
This event will be at no cost to AIE Members, but pre-registration is very helpful.
