Leadership in Energy

Melbourne - Branch Event

Venue: The Trust, 405 Flinders Lane, Melbourne VIC 3000

Date: Mon 11 Dec 2017 @ 5:45pm to 7:00pm

5:45 to 6:00pm - AGM

Yes we generally keep it that short…

The Chair and Committee of the Melbourne Branch of the Australian Institute of Energy invites you to join us for our informal (and very brief) Annual General Meeting.

6:00pm to 6:30pm – Presentation and Q&A

An informal presentation by Bruce Thompson, General Manager Product Strategy at GreenSync Pty Ltd on the current status of Greensync’s innovative deX project.  Bruce will outline the key principles, functions of the software platform and plans to implement with partners in 2018.

deX is an open exchange where energy capacity can be transacted between businesses, households, communities and utilities. The deX software platform helps to drive coordinated development and implementation of distributed energy resources (DERs) like solar panels and batteries into electricity markets. Led by GreenSync, the deX industry initiative is now supported by over 50 industry partners and stakeholders.

6:30pm - Networking

Following the presentation there will be our traditional networking session in the comfortable Trust Melbourne lounge area.  The first round of drinks and nibbles is on the AIE, and then you buy your own.
