This interactive panel will be discussing several emerging or alternate energy projects in South Australia. A diverse trio of panellists will give an overview of their particular energy project(s) and discuss the path from concept to commercialisation, highlighting key challenges and milestones along the way.
Leigh Creek Energy Project
- Tony Lawry, Corporate and Investor Relations at Leigh Creek Energy will explain how a decades-long coal mine site at Leigh Creek is providing the potential to shake up the South Australian gas and electricity markets via in-situ gasification, or ISG.
- Business Development Manager Jason Dockerill will tell LMS Energy’s story and how landfill gas is being captured and used to help power the grid all around Australia.
Yorke Biomass Energy Project
- Chairman Terry Kallis will reveal how the biomass project will achieve straw-fuelled power generation via a unique co-operative business model on the Yorke Peninsula.
