Our aim is to hold a meeting each month. Meetings cover a variety of topics and include breakfasts, luncheons, evening meetings and site visits. Your feedback is welcome as are any offers to assist with meeting organisation.
The Melbourne Branch generally holds monthly meetings with a variety of formats, single speakers, symposia, conferences or plant visits, with refreshments and networking opportunities. Topics cover all disciplines associated with the energy industries including technical, policy, economic and social aspects of all energy forms. Events are usually held in city locations and meeting notices are circulated with relevant booking details. Our objective is to promote balanced and informed discussion and debate on relevant energy issues.
Registration for meetings is usually on-line through the AIE website. Non members are welcome to attend and are encouraged to register for our free email newsletter and notifications.
Melbourne Branch is always looking for help in putting together the technical program, expanding the Branch Committee or attracting sponsorship of events to keep registration fees low. If you can assist in any of these matters, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.

AIE Melbourne are pleased to support sponsorship to this awards event. The Science Talent Search (STS) is an annual, science based competition open to all primary and secondary students in Victoria, Australia. Science Talent Search fits closely with the Victorian Curriculum philosophy of teaching and learning. There is a close match between many STS sections and the Victorian Curriculum Learning Areas, Strands and Substrands.
