AIE News

Courses at the University of Sydney

The Faculty of Architecture, Design and Planning at the University offers a number of postgraduate courses and subjects related to effective use of energy. Degrees in Sustainable Design, Building Services, Facilities Management and Illumination Design cover a diverse number of areas relating to the energy conservation field and can be taken as either Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma, or Masters programs.

There is also the possibility to take individual subjects of interest without having to enrol in a degree. Subjects include: Climate, Comfort and Sustainable Design; Building Construction Technology; Sustaining the Built Environment; Building Energy Analysis; Energy Code Compliance in Buildings; and Energy Management in Buildings.
