Moderated by AIE Perth’s Lisa Sharp, Manager, GTE Governance & Oversight at WA’s Department of Treasury, the webinar will hear from Tom Ridsdill-Smith, SVP Climate at Woodside, Kiera Poustie, GM Corporate Strategy at Jemena and Theo Comino, Manager, Carbon Analysis & Reporting at AGL.

Senior Vice President Climate, Woodside
Tom has a BSc (Hons) and a PhD in Mathematical Geophysics from UWA. As SVP Climate, Tom is leading Woodside’s approach to climate change and has oversight of the group’s initiatives to limit emissions and prepare for a lower-carbon future. Tom has worked in a variety of roles for Woodside including VP Geoscience, VP Science, Chief Digital Officer, Chief Scientist and Chief Geophysicist. Before joining Woodside in early 2000, Tom worked for five years in airborne geophysics at World Geoscience. Tom is also an Adjunct Professor of Physics at UWA.
General Manager, Corporate Strategy, Jemena
As part of her role as General Manager, Corporate Strategy at Jemena, Kiera considers and assesses the big issues impacting on Australia’s energy industry and the Jemena business. Climate change and its associated risks, for business, industry and the community is one of those big issues. Prior to joining Jemena, Kiera worked in Australia, Europe and the USA addressing a wide range of commercial, financial, strategic, policy and regulatory issues facing energy industry participants and governments across the energy value chain.
Manager of Carbon Analysis & Reporting, AGL
Theo has eight years of experience in renewable energy and energy efficiency engineering, and over six years in climate change and sustainability reporting. As Manager of Carbon Analysis & Reporting at AGL, Theo’s role involves the management of climate change reporting from both a regulatory and non-regulatory perspective along with broader sustainability reporting, climate change policy and associated strategy development.
