ABOUT US - QUEENSLAND BRANCH

 

Welcome to AIE Queensland, an active local branch of the Australian Institute of Energy. Our membership base includes professionals from across the industry, reflecting Queensland’s interests in natural gas, LNG and renewable technologies such as wind, solar and battery storage. 

AIE Queensland aims to promote understanding and awareness of energy issues relevant for Queensland. We welcome new members from various disciplines across the energy sector. Membership of AIE Queensland provides access to a range of events at a discounted rate and the opportunity to network with like-minded individuals interested in energy.

As with all AIE branches, AIE Queensland operates in accordance with a set of Branch Rules. These are subject to and should be read with the AIE Constitution and By-Laws.

 

Queensland Branch Events

 

AIE Queensland offers special events throughout the year, including half-day symposiums, site visits, breakfasts or dinner seminars.

We also hold regular evening seminars and special events throughout the year for members and guests. These have a technical focus and may include broader presentations on policy or other energy issues.
